That's what our comprehensive care is all about. We will advise you to allow ninety minutes for your first appointment, so that Dr. Anderson and his team can assess your oral health, problem solve where necessary, and design a personalized treatment plan.
The oral exam itself includes an oral cancer screening and a periodontal (gum) disease check; a full series of x-rays including a panoramic 'whole mouth' x-ray; a jawbone, muscle and bite evaluation; and a TMJ joint examination. We'll also ask about your medical history, take your blood pressure, and uncover any general health issues that could potentially relate back to your oral health. Finally, we’ll evaluate your smile, discuss any related concerns and suggest possible improvements. You will leave our office with a comprehensive dental treatment plan custom designed for you.
