Our expertise doesn't stop with a degree. Each member of our dental care team studies to become an expert in understanding our patients, keeps up with the latest information and techniques in the industry, and strives to deliver the care most well-suited to each patient. This involves formal as well as informal continuing education and training.
For example, Dr. Anderson has completed over 2000 hours of study in a wide variety of dental disciplines and passed 2 extensive exams to acquire a Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry. Only 1% of dentists in the world achieve such a Mastership. Dr. Anderson is also a graduate of the Center for Advanced Dental Studies, the renowned Pankey Institute and the Piper Center for TMJ Treatment.
Our practice has ongoing, objective input from an industry consultant to whom we're accountable for continual growth and improvement. On a daily basis we carefully listen to and learn from each other, complementing each other and serving the interests of the whole patient.
David A. F. Anderson, D. D. S., M. A. G. D.
A native Texan, Dr. Anderson earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree from Baylor College of Dentistry. He has been in private practice for over 21 years. He received his fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1998 and his mastership in 2011. Dr. Anderson holds certification in the use of Branemark and ITI Straumann implants and he is a member of the following organizations:

Always expanding his professional knowledge, Dr. Anderson has completed extensive additional training in aesthetic dentistry, implant dentistry, TMJ therapy and treatment, and in occlusion and bite relationships. He regularly attends several continuing education programs each year and has presented numerous scientific articles in the U.S. and Canada.
Dr. Anderson is active in civic and local organizations in his community and is a founding member and past president of the Exchange Club Child Abuse Prevention Center in Dallas.
Andrea Muniz, Registered Dental Hygienist, BS
Andrea obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University, where she graduated cum laude in 2000. In 2003, Andrea graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry, Texas A&M University Health Science Center with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. For the past eight years, she has been helping patients feel better about their smiles through her work as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She is married to her high school sweetheart, and together they have a 13-year-old Schnauzer named Bailey. Andrea’s favorite hobbies include traveling, shopping, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Melinda Bunch, Registered Dental Assistant
As a Registered Dental Assistant with 10 years of experience, Melinda knows that improving a patient’s smile also boosts self-esteem and confidence. In addition, to providing care for our patients, she is also hard at working finishing her degree. During football season, Melinda cheers for the Dallas Cowboys, and her other interests include basketball and motocross.
Tracy Larson, Registered Dental Assistant
In addition to spending almost four of her seven years as a Registered Dental Assistant at Village Elm, Tracy is also close to obtaining a degree in Dental Hygiene from Collin County College. She lives in McKinney with her boyfriend Brad and their three pets, and in her spare time she enjoys travelling, watching movies, and attending concerts for her favorite musical groups.
Chrissy Frisby, Manager
As a manger with over nine years of experience in the dental industry, Chrissy strives to develop great relationships with all of our patients. She wants everyone who comes through our door to feel welcome and at home. Chrissy and her husband have been married for four years and have one son with another on the way. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and rooting for her favorite football team.
Jeanna Sanchez-Patient Relations Coordinator
Jeanna has lived in the Dallas area for 8 years. She grew up in West Texas and attended New Mexico State University. She is married and has 2 children. Jeanna feels that it is important to focus on making sure that our patients’ needs are met and that they have a pleasant experience from the moment that they enter our door. In her spare time, Jeanna loves to travel, workout, buy shoes, watch sporting events and go to concerts.
Natalie Le- Patient Relations Coordinator
As one of our Patient Relations Coordinators, Natalie is dedicated to ensuring that you receive the best possible care from Village Elm. She is originally from Louisiana and studied Computer Info Systems at ULM. In her spare time she loves to cook, watch Korean dramas, and travel. She also loves hanging out with her 9 year old son.
Tonya Klein-Registered Dental Assistant
Originally from Springfield, Illinois, Tonya has been a resident of North Texas since 2001. With over 18 years of experience as an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant, Tonya has exemplified the "Chair-side comfort and confidence" experienced by every patient in her care while visiting Village Elm Dental. Tonya enjoys experiencing life with her husband; travel, the arts, visiting historical sites and indulging in Starbuck's coffee.
Lindsey McShea, Registered Dental Hygienist, BS
In 2007, Lindsey graduated from The University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. She then attended Baylor College of Dentistry, Texas A&M University Health Science Center, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2011. While at Baylor, she had the honor of being inducted into Sigma Phi Alpha, a national dental hygiene honor society. Lindsey is married and is an avid Ole Miss sports fan. Her favorite hobbies include shopping, baking, and hanging out with friends and family.
